CFAN shall also be an information,knowledge and resources focal point, where members and other stakeholders can access information and data for better decision making.Added to this is advocacy component of the organization,where the goal is for better national policies, laws,programs and projects to be implemented so that there can be a transformation in the agri-food system,from subsistence to a commercially oriented, productive,competitive,profitable one that creates decent work and income for all the implicated actors. CFAN also hopes to facilitate the mobilization of members,public,private and donor resources and to contribute to the attainment of its objectives, members participation in national , sub regional,regional and international standards development and certification processes and their application for the enhancement of their farming practices and enterprises. CFAN aims to promote farm-agribusiness-consumers agri-food development models that are productive, competitive and inclusive ensuring the participation of rural, peri-urban, women and youth in the implementation of these models, it shall organize different events on behalf of its members including and facilitate participation in other stakeholders and partner's events at all levels. it shall do all this such acts, matters and things as maybe deemed incidental to or conducive to the attainment of CFAN objectives including changing the passive negative image of agriculture and its actors including farmer.
